Promoting your library: a presentation
Earlier today I gave a presentation to the University of North Texas. 60 or 70 library students, faculty and others listened to me drone on about how to promote your library and the important of promotional activities in increasing advocacy.

today’s recap
Attended the PRSA workshop on developing your story angle, to improve media pitches. It was some reminder, some recap, and a few “aha!” moments. Effective and worth the price.
Attended the Hispanic Coalition meeting at City Hall. Always informative and interesting to see what’s going on in the nonprofit world of Houston.
